You start your new business with your Business Plan and the available capital. The actual starting and running of a business is hard work. The MBC wants to support you during this time. You can always contact the MBC office. The MBC has two coaching approaches: Personal Coaching and Quarterly Seminars.

Personal Coaching

thumb-coachIf possible the MBC will appoint a personal coach to you. He/she will help you to implement your Business Plan and manage your business well. Through regular meetings, the coach will help you to optimize your production or services, to develop your business skills, to plan well and to solve your business problems. In the first 6 months of starting up your business, the coach will try to meet with you every two weeks, to discuss the challenges and problems of your business, but also reflecting on your successes.

After 6 months the coaching will be less intense; he will try to meet with you every month from now on. Together you will discuss your entrepreneurial successes. He will look at your book keeping activities, the financial health of your business and shares suggestions for improving your business. After a period of 2 years of coaching you will have enough knowledge and experience to continue the business on your own.

Quarterly Seminars

The Missional Business Center believes it to be of great importance for you to keep on learning business skills and get input from others. We challenge you to be a ‘Life-long learner’. Peer group consultation is another great tool for learning.

To facilitate this, the MBC will invite you to business seminars. Every quarter the MBC will organize a seminar where you will meet you fellow alumni students and be taught on a business related topic, you will have peer to peer consultations about successes and challenges in your business and a biblical entrepreneurship topic will be presented, for you to consider in your business.
